Remember when you were a kid, how you had that one toy you were inseparable with? Maybe it was that particular doll, or stuffed teddy bear, which somehow managed to captivate you entirely.

It wasn't exceptionally beautiful or special in terms of appearance or function, but somehow it was just special to you.

Where ever you went, whatever you did, it was there with you. You'd take it on long car rides, to year end vacations and it'd be the last thing you held as you drifted off to the land of dreams.

But as years went by and as you got older, its importance seemed to drop. There were so much more things that you could be spending time on. That toy ended up at the corner of your bed, so untouched it's almost forgotten.

And it probably would have been forgotten if it weren't for the days that you got tired of everything that's been going on and just wanted something to cuddle to sleep. Or the days you're feeling a little nostalgic and just missed those days as a kid; just living without a care in the world, playing with toys and make believe.

I feel like that toy sometimes.

Just sitting in the corner, waiting to be found again.
